WHAT IS A STURGIS?
Great question! Sturgis (pronounced Stir Gis, with a hard G) is my married last name, and I’m incredibly proud to carry it. The name Sturgis is often associated with strength, resilience, and a sense of purpose—and I like to think I bring all of that to the table. When you’ve got a Sturgis in your corner, you’re in good hands. Trust me!

Driven by a passion for experiencing love through community, dedication, and creativity, Sturgis Events offers budget-friendly services to ensure your wedding season is stress-free, memorable, and seamless. My goal is to give you the space to focus on what truly matters on your big day: spending time with your loved ones and declaring your love.

I founded Sturgis Events in 2024 to channel my passion for all things wedding and planning! With a rich background in event planning at a well-known Ohio zoo, I bring extensive multi-tasking abilities, professionalism, and organizational skills to every event. I'm the type of person who adds items to my to-do list just for the joy of crossing them off. Planning and organizing have always been an integral part of my life. And a fun fact: I even planned my own wedding in just over 100 days!
